Another busy week in Team 5!

This week we have been innovating our class story (Farther), in preparation for writing our own journey stories next week to showcase our learning. In Maths, we have been using column method for addition and subtraction; solving calculations that became progressively more challenging throughout the week.

On Thursday, as you will already know, we visited Helsby High for the Performance Poetry Workshop. All of the children (and myself!) had a fantastic time and I was truly impressed with the poetry that the children created on the day. We were also very proud of the children that bravely went on stage to perform their poem in the overall competition!

We have also been gathering materials and planning ideas for the construction of our own Anglo-Saxon village next week.
