Team 2 have had a fab week! 

In English, we have started our new book and we looked at 100 years of toys. We predicted what the book may be about based on the items we saw. The children were so engaged with this and we thought about how we would feel if we got the first robotic toy in the 1950s. We wrote a thank you letter and thought about reasons we would be grateful for this. 

In maths, we have been working on adding numbers with 10 and a bit. We looked at the composition of 10 and how we can use our knowledge of number bonds to 10 to add numbers. We have been carrying on our money unit in maths and we looked at adding coins together. 

In afternoon lessons, we have been reflecting on our PE unit (ball and hand skills) and what went well and what we could have improved on. In science, we looked at a plants lifestyle and the children made dances for this. We also made a care plan for plants. 

We had an exciting week with Horn's Mills got talent and a special visitor in the woodlands who hid some chocolate.
