Week beginning 12th June Team 5

Another busy but exciting week in Team 5. We really enjoyed the Sports Day on Tuesday. So many volunteers to take part in the races. I was so pleased with the sportsmanship they displayed, not only for their own classmates but also for the other classes. I do think the loudest cheer was for the parent's race though!

As part of our PSHE, we had two members of Cheshire Fire and Rescue, Collette and Lorna, tell us about how we can help ourselves and our familes keep safe at home. Team 5 were given a bit of additional homework from them to make sure we had checked with our adults that their family knew their fire escape plan. We also learnt how to Stop, Drop and Roll. 

In science and English, we have been researching and writing a biography for a famous scientist. The children have been so interested in finding out that so many scientist had many failures before they found success.
