A warm welcome...

Nurture Inspire Flourish

Horn's Mill Primary School is a one form entry school serving the community of Helsby, on the outskirts of Chester. We work very much at the heart of our community and have close working relationships with our children and families. You may well be looking at our site, as you are interested in gaining a place for your child at our school. If you would like to get a closer look, please contact the office to arrange a time when you can visit. We will be happy to show you around.

We have seven classes at Horn's Mill and these are housed in beautiful grounds including a large woodland area and a substantial school field. Privately run, Horn's Mill Pre-School uses part of our site providing Early Years education for 2-4 year olds and before and after school care for the full primary range. We work very closely together providing full day care and some school holiday care for those who require it.

Our school is a happy place to learn. We continually strive for excellence and provide an exciting and challenging curriculum for our children. We celebrate the diversity of our catchment and are passionate about meeting the needs of all of our children who tell us very clearly that they enjoy coming here each day. So please come and visit us!
