We have been working very hard this week to finish all our writing and art work for our Christmas books ready to go out next week. We are very proud of them but we don't want to give too much away... In preparation for Christmas, we have also made decorations in forest schools using twigs and sticks that we collected.

In R.E, we have been learning about christingles, how and why they are made, and what each part of the christingle represents. We had lots of fun making them too!

In Maths, we have now moved on to look at subtracting 3 digit numbers using an expanded column method. Although we are finding it a bit tricky, we have shown great perseverance and hard work.

We have also had a vistor in class this week- an elf! He appeared at the beginning of the week and after a lazy start to the week, decided to go on our computer and put everyone on the naughty list! As we are learning about how to send emails and what is appropriate to send in them, we emailed Mrs Wyatt to tell her all about his mischief and made sure to show off our knowledge of subordinating conjunctions at the same time.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend,

Miss Delaney
