Orienteering Competition

On Friday 12^th May, 6 members of Team 5 competed in an orienteering competition at Helsby High School against another 54 children from other schools in the area. The children demonstrated fantastic collaboration, communication, sportsmanship and impressive team work skills throughout their time at the competition. The girls set off the competition first whilst the boys had another task to continue with and then vice versa. The girls came in 1^st place managing to find all 13 flags with the fastest time and the boys had the fastest time of all groups but unfortunately only found 12 of the flags which lead them in at 5^th place. Miss Thomas was immensely proud of all the children that represented Horn’s Mill today. A great experience for all involved. Well done The Millers!
