Reception - Easter!

Welcome back everyone - hope you all had a lovely Spring break!

This week we have been finishing our class text 'The Journey Home' in Literacy. We have been learning the story using a story map and writing the story in our books using all our phonics skills. The children's writing is making so much progress - all the Reception teachers are very proud!

In maths we have been focusing on recognising numbers to 10 and 20. We've played lots of games to support our ordering, counting and recognising skills.

We've also been learning all about Jesus and the Easter story. We made Easter treats and tasted hot cross buns.
