Reception - Space week

Hi everyone,

This week in Literacy we have been reading the story 'Man on the Moon'. We have been reading about Bob who works on the moon and travels up in his rocket each day. We have been completing different writing activites based on the story each day this week.

During maths we have been continuing to work on our addition skills, but this week we have been focusing on adding 2 to numbers up to 10. Lots of children are becoming very confident reading questions containing the symbols + and =, as well as solving these questions using a range of different resources.

As we have collected reading books in for our reading book sort, please continue to read with your child as much as possible using their library book and any other books you have at home.
