Reception - WB 17.9.18

Hi everyone,

This week in school we have been continuning to get used to our new school routines. Children had their lunch with their classmates (their Team 6 buddies were on a residential), continued to be super tidiers in our classroom, but most importantly continued to make lots of new friends.

In Ready Steady Read we have now learnt the sounds m,a,s,d,i,n and have started to fred talk and blend different simple words as a class e.g. d-i-g = dig. We have also been learning how to write the sounds using our super pencil grip.

We have also been learning to recognise  different numicon pieces by learning what the shape is like, what colour they are and how many holes are in each piece.
