Reception - WB 7.12.18

Hi all,

This week we have been working very hard on finalising our Christmas performance. We can't wait for you to see it next Tuesday morning!!

In class we have now finished our work on the story book 'I'm going to eat this ant'. As a final piece of work children chose an animal and decided what their animal would like to eat. Children wrote a list of these items using the sounds and letters they have been learning in Ready Steady Read. Some children were using the initial sound they could hear in the words, others were attempting to write the whole words. I was very impressed!!

We have also started to create our own Christmas book based on 'The Christmas Story'. We have been completing some writing and creating some pictures to go in our book. This will be coming home very soon!!
