Reception - WB 4.12.23

Hi all,

We've had a lovely week practcing our Christmas play this week - we can't wait to show you all next week!

On Wednesday we went on a visit to St Paul's church in Helsby. We met Rev Noel there, who took us on a tour around the church and told the what the different features are. We sung some Christmas songs, whilst sitting in the choir pews. We also got to taste some of the yeast free bread. We had a lovely time!

During maths we have been looking at different 2D shapes, including circles, triangles and squares. We've talked about what these shapes look like and have practiced during these. We have also been on lots of shape hunts and tried to spot these different shapes around the classroom.
