Team 1 - Directions, making bread and mini-kickers!

Date: 19th Mar 2016 @ 4:24pm

Happy Saturday everyone!

We have had a busy week in Team 1, as we are getting closer and closer to our Easter break!

In English a mystery box of ingredients were left in our classroom and a letter, which asked us to make some delicious bread rolls. We then began to imitate and understand a set of instructions of how to make bread rolls and how to create/write a set of instructions of our own.

In maths we started to look at position, movement and direction and began to understand what whole, half and quarter turns are.

In the afternoons we have been on walks around our school grounds and identified lots of features, which we then put into our very own picture maps.

On Wednesday a group of our class also went to Finch Farm, where Everton train, to take part in a regional mini-kickers final. We came 2nd out of 7 teams!! Proud moment for Miss Steen!

Have a nice weekend all!

Homework is attached onto our class page for this week.
