Team 1 - Fantasy stories, fractions and tomatoes.

What a nice end to a lovely sunny week!
In English this week we have been planning and writing our own fantasy stories independently! We have been using the word 'edit' this week a lot too and learning how re-read our work and edit different parts to improve our writing.
In maths we having been focusing on finding and using fractions. We have been finding the fractions 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 of objects, shapes and numbers and then applying our skills to solve practical problems.
In the afternoon we have been continuing to focus on our reading skills, where we have been reviewing and learning new sounds and playing lots of reading games.
We have also been observing and keeping an eye on our flowers and tomotoes which we planted last week too! We have watering them everyday and we even moved the plant pots this week, so that more sun could reach them. Update to follow....
