Team 1 - Innovation, weighing and daily mile.

Another great week of learning for Team 1!

In English we finished imitating of our focus text 'The Way Back Home' and began to innovate different parts of the story individually on our own story map.

In Maths we were looking at measuring weight this week. We learn't how to estimate the weight of an object, measure it using mult-link and a balancing scale and then compare the different objects which we measured. There was some great team work during our maths lessons this week, which Miss Steen was very impressed with!

During our afternoon sessions we continued with our handwriting and phonics practice. completing lots of different games on the IWB and our practical treasure and trash game. We have also been continuing to complete our daily mile each day, mainly during the afternoons. The children are really enthuastic about it and enjoy going outside to release some of their energy. So far so good!!
