Team 1 - Maps, Journey Stories and Singing.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

We were straight back to work in Team 1 last week after our week off.

In English we began to innovated our story maps and everyone thought of some wonderful characters to innovate within their story. We then started to write our innovated story, focusing on our handwriting and making our sentences interesting.

In maths we began to look at addition and use different methods to work out addition questions. Some of us focused on mental methods by drawing our own number lines and other used visual representations to work out addition questions. All the children worked very hard at this!!

During our afternoon learning we have been looking at different types of maps and globes in topic and we have started to rehearse for our musical extravaganza in music. Very exciting!!
