Team 1 - Numbers to 100, Acrostic Poems and History of Horn's Mill.

Good Afternoon everyone!

In English this week we have been learning how to create and write an acrostic poem. We imitated an acrostic poem about space, which is linked to our text 'The Way Back Home', wrote our innovated versions and then wrote an acrostic poem by ourselves. Acrostic Poems have proved quite tricky to write, but we got there in the end!

In maths, we have been counting and using our numbers to 100. We have been counting aloud, playing games on our 100 square and solving problems. We even practiced writing out numbers to 100 aswell!

During our afternoon learning we continued with our reading activities, began to discuss our new topic 'The History of Horn's Mill and began to practise for sports day after Half Term.
