Team 1 - Rainbow Fish, measuring and science investigations.

Date: 22nd Nov 2015 @ 3:52pm

Lots of new learning this week in Team 1!

In English we have been imitating our text 'The Rainbow Fish' and focusing a lot on our writing. We have been making sure we always use our sounds when spelling words and that there are always capital letters, full stops and finger spaces within our writing too.

In maths we have been learning all about 'height'. This has involved lots of estimating, measuring and comparing using the correct mathematical vocabulary. Miss Steen was very impressed this week!!

We have continued to rehearse our Christmas Nativity with Team 2. We now know most of the songs and have started to piece everything together and run through the whole Nativity. It is looking good!

In science we have been looking at the change in seasons and the different types of weather which associate with each of the seasons. We have been looking at Autumn and Winter in particular and have started to plan our on investigation to measure how much rain falls in the Winter months. Remember your bottles for tomorrow!!

See you all tomorrow,

Miss Steen smiley
