Team 1 - WB - 15.1.24

Date: 20th Jan 2024 @ 4:48pm

The weeks are whizzing by with all the exciting things that Team 1 have been up to.

We started the week with an assembly about our British Values. We were reminded about the important values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance. Mrs H's assembly helped us to remember some very important values that we live our lives by, daily.

In maths this week, we continued to work on numbers to 20. We have been practising counting forward and backwards, writing numbers in words and numerals and finding the best ways to count numbers where we need to find a 10 first.

In English we have been learning about finding the magic in the small things. We looked at how even a small pebble can bring joy.

During our afternoon learning we have been creating the British Isles out of playdough - we are getting very good at remembering the shape of Britain! We have also been composing a beat using body percussion, learning to count in French and continuing to develop our growing dance in PE.

Have a wonderful weekend all. I am looking forward to see what we can get up to next week!
