We kick started our week by getting on a coach and going to Frodsham Leisure Centre to join in a local football tournament. We were thrilled with the way our team got stuck in and joined in with such enthusiasm, both myself and Mrs Thomas were really proud of their positive attitude! To top it all off we came third!

To introduce our new text, the children discovered some “bones” that had been found on the field. We were very excitedly predicting which animal they would belong to. A picture clue revealed they belonged to a woolly mammoth!

In Maths this week we have been counting up to 50 and using our maths equipment to make numbers to 50, talking about how many tens and how many ones there are in each number.

Our week ended by enjoying some yummy pancakes and playing a game on the board to cook pancakes.
