Team 2 WB: 15.11.21

Date: 19th Nov 2021 @ 4:52pm

We’re at the end of another wonderful week. This week has been slightly different compared to our usual timetable. Nevertheless, we still managed to get lots of lovely learning in! It was lovely to see so many of you at our opening evening on Tuesday night. It is always exciting showing off all the work we have been doing!

For Math’s this week we have been consolidating our understanding of shape. This week is our last week learning about shapes before we start our addition and subtraction unit.

During our English sessions this week, we started our new book ‘The owl who was afraid of the dark.’ At the start of the week we went into the woodlands and collected lots of different woodland materials and described those objects using expanded noun phrases. As the week went on we were then introduced to adjectives and thought of lots of different ways we could describe Plop (the owl from our story) by applying those adjectives.

In PE this week we had a game of netball. First we practiced the different passes before carrying out a game!

In Science we looked at keeping healthy and active. We sorted a range of different foods into categories by deciding whether we think they are healthy foods or unhealthy foods.

Aside from the busy things we have been up to we have also met up with Team 1 to practice our songs ready for the Christmas nativity!!

Have a lovely weekend.
