Team 2 WB: 17.1.22

Date: 21st Jan 2022 @ 6:00pm

What a whirlwind of a week we have had this week. After all the crazy challenges that have been thrown at us this week, Team 2 have persevered and made it toto the end of another week. At the beginning of the week we celebrated Martin Luther King Jr day by looking at all of the amazing work he did by simply using his voice. So after completing a range of activities around the rainforest, we went out onto the daily mile track and participated in a march to use our voices to encourage others to save the rainforest.

In Maths this week we have started looking at subtraction, taking one-digit numbers away from one-digit numbers both with and without crossing the tens boundaries.

In English this week we have been writing a report about cats. We have taken the time to plan our reports and then used this to support us with our writing. The reports are amazing, the children seem to know a lot about cats!!

During our afternoon learning we have been researching using the laptops. Following on from Monday we have been writing fact files of everything we know about the rainforest to add to our rainforest display. We have looked at different habitats as well as creating some dance pieces during our PE sessions.

See you all next week.
