Team 2 wb 24th May

Date: 28th May 2021 @ 12:18pm

What a wonderful half-term and what a way to end it! This afternoon we have been very kindly treated to ice-creams from the local ice-cream van as a treat for DO’s birthday! They were delicious and such a great treat after all our hard work this half-term!

This week we have been so intrigued to learn more about World War II and the Blitz. We saw Anderson and Morrison shelters, posters from the war effort and video accounts of children that were evacuated. We had lots and lots of brilliant questions to ask.

In English we have been writing lots of questions and writing some wonderful letters to our grandparents asking them about how life has changed since they were little. The children have really enjoyed writing them and have copied them up neatly and taken them home to send to grandparents.

In maths we have begun to learn about division, focusing on how we can divide by creating equal groups. We will continue with our work on division when we return after half-term.

I hope you all have a wonderful and well-deserved rest Team 2!
