Welcome back Team 2!

We have had such a busy and amazing first week back. 

In English, we have started our new class book 'an owl who was afraid of the dark'. We have been looking at all the facts we know about owls and then using the book to add to our knowledge. The children have been writing some lovely desciptions of owls!

In maths, we have been looking at the 2 times table and we have been using counters to help remember these. The children have had an amazing start to this and we can't wait to start looking at our five and ten times tables next week. 

In our afternoon learning, we have been looking at all the different parts of our brain and what they do. We have started learning about doubles in our mastery maths sessions and we have used a song and our rekenreks to help us with this.
