Team 2 WB: 5.6.23

Date: 11th Jun 2023 @ 12:00pm

What another wonderful week in Team 2 and even better that the sun is shining. We’ve had lots going on this week and the children have demonstrated their maturity and resilience throughout.

In math this week, we have been looking at pictograms. Throughout the week, we have explored pictograms and tally charts and used the information to create their own versions.

In English this week, we have been exploring some more of our class text Major Glad, Major Dizzy. This week, we have created a poem all about what we want to be when we grow up. Towards the end of the week, we have started a plan so we are ready to write a letter to Granny when we return on Monday!

In science this week, we have started our new unit on life cycles and we explored the different stages of the human life cycle.

In geography, we spent some times looking at the globe and the features that our Earth is made from. We then organized the different continents by size and focused specifically on the scale of the continents. We used Google Earth to support us with this.

Finally, we finished off the week with some free time in the sunshine on the field and this was really fun! Have a lovely weekend everyone, I’ll see you on Monday!
