What an icy week this has been!

Due to the weather unfortunately let’s walk was cancelled but this will be rescheduled at a later date.

In Art this week we have been exploring the work by Kathy Boyland. Boyland uses natural materials and clay to imprint patterns into her pots. This inspired us to do the same! We explored her techniques and learnt lots of lessons that will help us when we are doing our final piece on Monday.

We are really enjoying our History learning of the stone age! This week found out that the stone age was split into 3 different periods; Palaeolithic, mesolithic and neolithic. We had the opportunity to hold lots of different tools like flints and spears. We then investigated the use of the tools.

In Maths we started our new unit of length and we are wizzing through! We have explored different units of measurement; cm, mm and m.

Please ensure children are reading at home and bringing their reading book and record in daily.
