What a busy week we have had in Team 3!

In our English learning, we started reading sections of our new focus text ‘The Seal Surfer’. We then used the IPads to research information about seals before creating our very own non-chronological reports about them.

In maths, we learnt a brand new strategy which the children were very excited to use, the column method for addition. We began by learning how to use the expanded column method strategy to help us understand what the method entails before we shortened it to use a much simpler version.

In our topic learning this afternoon we have been working hard on creating poems for our Christmas books that will be coming home next week.
