Team 4 - W/b - 21.1.19

We find ourselves at the end of another busy but chilly week!

In maths the children have continued to power through their learning. We have been practising dividing by 10 and by 100 in a variety of tasks and games.
In English we have looked at the rules of speech and how direct speech can be used well in narrative writing. We were very pleased with how well the children worked on editing and improving their examples from the previous session.
 

In reading, we have been working on our summarising and retrieval skills. The children have shown such enthusiasm for our guiding reading sessions.

Also this week, we have been exploring some ABBA tunes in music, developing team work skills in PE and in art we sketched some important European landmarks.
