Team 4 wb 10.5.21

This week, we have started a few new topics and focuses. 

In maths, we have been working on division where we have been using known facts to complete this mentally and also revisiting the formal written method.  

In reading, our themed week has been focused on inferences, vocabulary choices and authorial intent. 

For English, we have started to work on our new text 'Escape from Pompeii'. We have been developing a rich vocabulary and the children have blown us away with their word choices and ideas. 

Also this week, we have started our topic of states of matter in science. We loved exploring the particle structure of solids, liquids and gases through drama! 

A very busy week for Team 4. Enjoy a restful weekend.
