Team 4 w.b 14.06.21

We have been busy recapping our learning in reading and maths.

In English, we have been working on building a varied ad rich vocabulary through our work on the Escape from Pompeii text. We then applied some of this vocabulary in some fabulous letters. The adults were delighted to see phrases such as “plumes of smoke”, “blistering heat” and “pyroclastic blast”. The children are loving exploring life at this time and imagining what it would have been like to be in Pompeii. We then further developed our learning about the topic by recreating some volcano artwork

In PE we worked on our running skills, ready for Sports day next week.
