What a busy week we have had in Team 4!

In our math’s learning, we continued learning how to use the column method to add and subtract. We applied this learning to a range of problem-solving activities and also worked in pairs to complete a number of investigations.

In our English learning this week, we recapped how to use fronted adverbials and then we experimented using them to build an effect. We used our current class text: The Nowhere Emporium to give us some ideas before we went and tried this ourselves using them to build an image in the reader’s mind.

In our spelling work this week, we continued learning our jumping orange words. You can reinforce this spelling at home by practising the following words:

In our afternoon learning, we completed art with Mrs Carroe putting the finishing touches to our Christmas books ready to go home in a couple of weeks, we created our Christmas decorations to sell at our Christmas markets and we also went swimming as part of our PE lessons.
