Team 5 – what a week!

I think the main thing to celebrate this week is the assembly to showcase our Anglo-Saxon and Viking learning. I am so proud of each and every one of the children and their part in the performance. A huge well done. We hope that the families enjoyed it too.

In English this week, we have completed reading our class text Arthur and The Golden Rope. Today, the children identified the key parts of the story and they will use this to plan their own story next week.

In maths, we completed a short test to review our learning about the fractions unit. There were some really challenging questions and the children applied themselves well.

I have sent a letter home about a class trip to the local park on Monday. This is a reward for the class who have completed their second Mr Potato Head. The weather looks fine (at the moment) so we plan to head to the park for a short play in the sunshine.
