Team 5 WB 15.1.24

Hello Team 5 Families,

One of the most popular bits of learning for Team 5 this week was in our computing lesson. We learned how to create slides and input images into a PowerPoint presentation. We had some very fast learners and I’m looking forward to revisiting and extending their skills next week. In Art this week we were exploring water colour mixing from the same colour palette.

In Engliah, we particularly enjoyed sharing our Beowulf story. We unpicked the powerful language from the text and then planned a retelling of the story. We will continue this next week.

We have a special event next week as our visitor from the Magic Door Company is coming to deliver the Anglo-Saxon workshop. We already have some good foundation knowledge in this period and I can’t wait for this interactive workshop. Please could we ask that all families check that they have made the small payment?

Please ensure children are reading at home and bringing their reading book and record on Monday with 5 reads.
