Team 5: w/b 7.12.15

Wow, what a week it has been in Team 5!

We finally arrived at the week of the KS2 production, and all of our hard work and practise really shone through during the performances. I was extremely impressed with the efforts of Team 5: all those with a speaking part spoke confidently and clearly, and all children gave their all with the singing!

Additionally this week we have been drafting, evaluating and editing our own versions of the nativity story. The children worked really hard on this, writing every single day and persevering. 

We also made the front covers for our Christmas books, sketching up ideas in our sketch books before deciding on a finished product. Towards the end of the week, children began to write up their final draft that will go in the Christmas book. It was wonderful to see how much pride the children were taking in both their writing and their drawing; I really can't wait to see the completed books!

One more week to go until we break up for Christmas!
