Team 5 WB 8.1.24

Hello! 

This week we have completed our multiplication and division unit in maths and we finished our learning with the chance to show off our skills in a test. 

In history we looked at where the Anglo Saxons came from and where they arrived in the UK. We used the atlases to locate the countries and the seas and then plotted these on our own maps. Later in the week we discussed why the Anglo Saxon’s came.
In Reading this week our topic has been Todd Joe-Stanton (our spotlight author). 

In Circle time we talked about our swimming sessions and we had the chance to share our feelings about it. Mrs Wyatt took the children swimming this week and she commented on how fantastic the behaviour was. We are so proud of the positive attitudes and resilience skills displayed.
In English, we have been revisiting the rules of speech punctuation and we created a speech sandwich!
