This week Team six have had a great first week back!
In English, we wrote spooky stories about a short animated film titled Alma, since this week has been Halloween. We finished them today and have really enjoyed writing a spooky story.
In an addition to the creepy theme our class thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween disco that was held here in the school hall this Wednesday. It was great fun with lots of dancing!!
Following on from long multiplication, we have been learning how to solve 2 digit division questions using long division. It has been a challenge but we all figured it out in the end.
On Wednesday we had someone come in to teach us some cricket skills and play cricket with us. At first we practised our catching and then at the end we all played a game of cricket and all had goes at batting and fielding.
In French, we have been learning the name of family members and creating our family trees in french.
This week some people from the school football club went to a competition and out of 12 different teams they came 4th! They did a very good job and we are very proud of them.
