In English this week we have been publishing our Alma stories by typing them up on computers and drawing a front cover to make them all feel like real proper stories! Also in English we have been looking at passive voice, apostrophes, homophones and suffixes before using all the skills we learned to write a paragraph about our current class text star of fear star of hope.

In Maths we have been learned about common multiples: a multiple found in two or more times tables. We have been using our understanding of it to make a journal page about it and then answer questions in our Maths No Problem textbook.

In geography/history we have been learning about the Battle of Britain and the Blitz and how the UK was bombed. We have been using the atlases to help us know where the cities are and we then copied them onto a plain map of the UK.

In my happy mind we have done a survey over the weekend where we found out our top character strengths and then we wrote them down in our books and helped our understanding how we use them and how they help us every day.

In PE we carried on our topic of cricket and we learned a new game called pavilion cricket and we developed our skills in throwing the cricket ball.

As it is remembrance day on Saturday we did an activity called blackout poems where you get a poem and choose some words to keep and then you draw a picture that links to WW1 like a soldier or poppies and then colour the rest black.
