What a wonderful week we've had!

Starting off on Monday, we did P.E with Coach Craig. We played a lot of fun games for example, line tag and more! On Tuesday, we started watching a movie about Katherine Johnson called 'Hidden Figures'. It was about how Katherine's life was in the 1960s being an African-American woman while working for NASA..

Following on to Wednesday, we completed writing up our Science experiments in our books that we did last week with Mrs Johnson.

Thursday was International Maths Day! For our project, we found out the distance between planets from the sun. We learnt about Astronomical Units (AU) which is the term we use to measure distance in space. We cut out planets and some fractions from paper sheets to stick outside on the ground to measure the distance our own way (with 1 AU = 1 sheet). It was super fun!

To finish off this week, we had hot chocolate this morning with our DEAR time, which was nice treat for our work we did yesterday.

As you can see, this week was full of fun and learning! We hope next week will be like this.
