Team 5 – The Movie Stars!

We were delighted to welcome so many children and families back to school on Thursday night to view the premiere of our movies about North America. It was really special for the children to be able to share this learning with you. I’m sure you will agree that it was a great opportunity to apply their geography knowledge in a fun way.

Another highlight of the week was welcoming Cheshire Phoenix into the school. The basketball pros delivered 3 workshops including anti-smoking, healthy eating and basketball skills. Team 5 were totally engaged and learned a lot. Children came home with a ticket for free entry to one of the basketball matches - a great opportunity.

In addition to all this, we’ve also enjoyed learning some new vocabulary in maths. Please do ask Team 5 if they can tell you what a factor is and what multiple means. We have also learned about prime and composite numbers.
