Team 5 WB 27.11.23

In Team 5 this week we have had a bit of a Christmas vibe (it is December now after all!)

We read The Night Before Christmas, a chapter of A Christmas Carol and a text from the fabulous GetEpic online bank of texts. In English, we wrote our first poem for our top secret Christmas Books. We have also continued to practise our songs for the carol concert.

In maths we have been looking at multiplication by partitioning and using the column method. Some of the children have had to really apply their best grappling and perseverance skills to work on this. Keep up that TT rock stars practise please everyone!

In other news, we have talked about our character strengths in My Happy Mind, we have revisited our learning about Maya culture in history and we have been investigating light in science.
