Team 3 wc 17.1.22

We have had a super week in Team 3 this week and have continued to enjoy our new jobs as 'Petrologists' (someone who studies rocks). Over the last few weeks, we have been studying and observing different rocks and drawing conclusions from what we have discovered. Last week we investigated how hard a rock was and learnt that igneous and metamorphic rocks were far harder than sedimentary rocks. This week we investigated the permeability of rocks and discovered that sedimentary rocks were permeable and igneous and metamorphic were in the main, impermeable. 

The children get so excited when the rocks come out - who'd have thought rocks could be so much fun!!
