Team 4 - Week 1 - 06.09.19

Date: 6th Sep 2019 @ 5:04pm

Welcome to the first Team 4 blog for this school year!

I am delighted with how the children have come to school ready to learn. We have engaged in lots of discussions on how we like to learn and what we all need to do to ensure we create a stimulating and exciting learning environment in our classroom and school.

I have briefly introduced the full year to the children with a mention of; swimming, Christmas markets and of course our outstanding residential trip to Tattenhall. First though this term, we will be studying about Ancient Greece and how that period of time has impacted the way we live today.

The children demonstrated that they are all very eager to learn with our consolidation work over the last few days. This is a very positive start to what is planned to be a fabulous year.

Could I please ask that all children read at the very least 10 Minutes each night from Sunday to Thursday? This will have a huge impact on your child’s education.

Letters: I have sent two main letters home this week. The first from Mrs Wyatt explaining the changes in how you will receive further correspondence from school. The second one I sent today is for our swimming lessons that start next week could I kindly ask for the letter to be returned back to me on Monday morning.

Thank you for your support!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Mr Oldfield
