Week 7 - 19.10.18

A marvellous week for all!

We have had good fun this week in Team 2 whilst working incredible hard. The children wrote their stories which were full of magical imaginative ideas – Well done Team 2! The children and staff were extremely lucky to be visited by Mr Moffat this week. In Team 2 particularly we learnt some sign language, ask your child if they know danger and party in sign language. We fully believe in No Outsiders and believe everyone is equal and no one is left out at Horn’s Mill.   

We have finally revealed how Charlie won his golden ticket in our class novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The children are really looking forward to continuing reading together next week to reveal what happens next. In history this week we have learnt about the Wright Brothers and their greatest inventions from a newspaper folder to the world’s first successful flying aeroplane. Next week we will learn about Neil Armstrong and the first landing on the moon.  

The children have been working really hard in their ukulele lessons ready for our performance, I am certainly looking forward to seeing them shine.
